After the trial period you can't get into windows. You try to login and it puts you right back at the login. if you try to use the Activate Now while in safe mode it says that you have to log in normal mode and you get a window screen as follows:
First thing you should do is download this patch:
Steps to Reseting the Activation Trial:
1. Copy the Downloaded Patch in a Flash drive.
2. Turn on your PC and Press F8 repeatedly and go to Safe Mode
3. Logon as per normal (note: Administrator password is usually blank, but hopefully you know your password)
4. Allow the Desktop to fully load (answering "Yes" to continue into Safe Mode) (note: This is just a long way of saying go to Safe Mode)
5. Extract the contents of the Patch file from the flash drive and Execute the Crack.exe file.
6. You will see a command prompt with a question, type y(yes) and press enter. Now restart your PC and you can login in normal mode
